By using this website you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. There will be no variations to these terms and conditions unless explicitly stated in writing by Power Tool People Ltd .
While Power Tool People Ltd aim to supply correct information on this website at all times, mistakes, errors and omissions may occur. Power Tool People Ltd take no responsibility for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, resulting from information contained on this site.
Unless you own or control the relevant rights in the material shown on this website, you must not:
- Republish material from our website (including republication on another website);
- Sell, rent or sub-license material from our website;
- Exploit material from our website for a commercial purpose; or
- Redistribute material from our website, save to the extent expressly permitted by this notice.
Prices shown on the www.powertoolpeople.co.nz are in New Zealand dollars. We reserve the right to change or alter prices of any item or service at any time for any reason. We reserve the right to reject an order for any reason, or if a product is unavailable or there is an error in the pricing or error description posted on our website or error in your order.
All goods supplied by Power Tool People Ltd are covered by manufacturer’s warranty. The goods are covered by warranty for any defective workmanship and material. Warranties will cover goods that have not been modified or used for purpose other than specified by the manufacturers.
All tools supplied by Power Tool People Ltd are sourced through the authorised distribution channels in New Zealand. Defective goods can be send back with a proof of purchase to our service centre at
23-25 Saxon Street. Phillipstown, Christchurch.
Or to the nearest warranty repair agent for the brand. Call us in case of a fault and one of our team members will work with you to sort it out.
All power tools are covered by either a 12 month warrant. An 3 year warranty applies to Festool, Dewalt, Fein, Bosch & Metabo tools subject to registration of purchase with the manufacturer. Please refer to the warranty papers enclosed with the tools. This warranty states that all machines are free of material and manufacturing faults.
We will (as appropriate) repair or freely replace faulty parts (including battery packs) caused by material or manufacturing faults.
The periods within which a material or manufacturing fault defect must appear in order for you to be entitled to claim the warranty are one year from the date of purchase in the case of the one-year warranty, and three years from the date of purchase in the case of the extended warranty on presentation of the relevant registration certificate. Any repair or replacement under the warranty neither extends the warranty period nor renews the warranty period.
DELIVERY AND DELIVERY CHARGES
All delivery orders must be supplied with a physical postal address. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
We deliver goods through reliable national courier companies and signatures are required for delivery.
In case of larger shipments, a freight company will be engaged and a tracking number will be emailed to you after dispatch.
Power Tool People Ltd will not refund any losses incurred from the customer selecting an inappropriate delivery method which is greater than the delivery cost.
PRODUCT RANGE AND AVAILABILITY
All efforts will be made to fulfil any order placed with Power Tool People Ltd . However, we accept no responsibility should we be unable to supply goods ordered for any reason.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Customers have the right to return any good deemed faulty in nature. The following conditions apply to returned items:
- Where goods are being returned due to a fault, they must be in original condition.
- Proof of purchase must be provided.
- Where return is due to a fault, the customer must contact Power Tool People Ltd within 7 days of receiving the product.
Minimum 24 hours notice of order cancellation required. Notification for instance, in person, via email, fax, or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing. We reserve the right to levy a NZ$20 charge to cover any subsequent administrative expenses.
Power Tool People Ltd will accept full payment only for any online order. Payment is made through ANZ eGate payment gateway.
Your payment is processed through ANZ eGate system. Power Tool People Ltd will not store or transfer any of your credit card information. All data is transferred using ANZ eGate system secure servers.
Neither party shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any obligation under any Agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man made eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could have been reasonably foreseen. Any Party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other Party of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with the terms and conditions of any Agreement contained herein.
In the event of any product failure of goods supplied, Power Tool People Ltd shall not be liable for any damage, or consequential or economic loss resulting from such failure but shall replace the goods if returned pursuant to our Returns/Refunds Policy, provided such failure has not been caused by fair "wear and tear".
